Kielder Forest Dark Sky Retreat

I am so happy to be finally sharing our first air bnb – a project that I have always dreamed of doing. It has been a long road but we are now finally taking bookings.

 

Located in Kielder village in the heart the UKs largest manmade forest,the house and whole village  was originally built for the forestry workers.Set within Northumberlands International Dark Sky Park with the Observatory, Kielder Water & Activity centre all on your doorstep – it  really  is the perfect place for those looking to take a break from the pace of  modern life.

 

We have tried to create a home from home, a place to slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures, reconnect with yourself, nature and  the people who matter.

 

 Have slow cooked meals, a glass of wine in front of the fire after a day of adventure and some stargazing in the best dark skies in England- you never know you might even see the Northern Lights.

 

Take long walks and epic rides with over 100 miles of cycling  trail, all of it traffic free,  award-winning art and architecture nestled deep within the forest this really is such an incredible part of the world.

3 Bedrooms– 2 bedrooms can be made up with either super kingsize beds or 2 x singles

1 x adult size bunk beds
